Get into the wilderness and camp under the stars at Barn Owl Camping, a peaceful place to enjoy the countryside. The site has a handful of wild camping pitches within our meadow area. This is just outside of our main field which can pitch tents, motor homes, caravans and is resident to our two shepherd's huts (Badger and Toad).
The experience at Barn Owl Camping is more akin to wild camping. There is no electricity on site, but there are a few facilities to make life a little more comfy: fresh water is available from a designated tap, a washing up area, composting toilets and a gas operated shower.
BADGER - HUT 1
This double glazed hut sleeps 2 adults in a king size bed and up to two children in a bunk style double above. Inside both of the huts you also have a table, chairs and sofa bed, with the use of a fire pit, picnic bench and shelter outside. Sheets are provided, however you will need to bring pillows and sleeping bags. If you would like duvets/sleeping bags and pillows at an additional cost give us a call.
Costs per night for Shepherd's Huts: £50:00 a night, however give us a call / email for deals on longer stays
Toad - Hut 2
This hut sleeps 2 adults in a king size bed and also offers a double sofa bed for small children which can be folded away to offer more space during the day
The site does not have electric hook up or kitchen facilities, bring all cooking utensils as if you were camping.
Camping, Caravans and Motorhomes
With Just 8 pitches available within 5 acres of land you are guaranteed space and privacy. You can set up on the main field or wild camp on one of our pitches in the meadow.
Caravans and motorhomes are welcome on the main field and if conditions allow campervans can pitch up in the meadow.
Pitches cost £20 per night (for up to 6 people per tent / campervan)
